VIRTUAL SHOOT W/ PHOTOGRAPHER DANA SCRUGGS
REMOTE FASHION SHOOT
I teamed up with acclaimed photographer Dana Scruggs – who's shot everything from the cover of Rolling Stone, to the cover of Time magazine – to do a remote fashion shoot from Chicago & NYC, respectively. We both wanted to experiment with virtual shoot technologies as well as stay fresh creatively. As Black creatives we were both looking for a creative outlet in the days immediately following George Floyd's murder, and while both of us nearly cancelled – we ultimately embraced the creative distraction.

HAIR + MAKEUP ABILITY
I own a full professional makeup & hair kit with performance-grade, camera-ready products. I am Barbicide® COVID-19 Certified and Infection Control Certified. I am responsible for all of the hair and makeup styling in all of the photos below.
My beauty education began early in life with instructional books by the legendary Kevyn Aucoin & Bobbi Brown. I then began studying ingredients and making my own skincare and mixing my own makeup shades. Now, as part of the industry for over a decade, I've done hair and makeup on myself and other models for shoots and special occasions. I'm proficient in styling my own hair both curly and straight.
